About the Program

The NOMU Al Ghurair program is a three-months “upskilling for employment” training program, implemented by The Nawaya Network, in partnership with DOT Lebanon and funded by the Abdulla Al-Ghurair Foundation.

The program aims to support financially-vulnerable, unemployed youth by upskilling them to increase their chances of finding employment.

The NOMU Al Ghurair program includes online soft skills and employability training, individual career coaching alongside an introductory course on AI and Data Annotation delivered by DOT Lebanon. This is followed by a technical course where participants can choose between Project Management or Business Intelligence.

Program Structure

The program will consist of 3 phases; each phase will last for 1 month and will entail the following:

Month 1

Daily Online Employability Skills Training (OST): 2 hours daily for 4 weeks. Participants will then move on to Month 2.

Month 2

One-on-one career guidance: a total of 3 hours over a period of 6 weeks. In parallel, participants are required to undertake an introductory course on AI & Data Annotation: a total of 24 hours.

Month 3

Technical upskilling bootcamps in Business Intelligence: 18 hours, 2 hours, 2 times per week for 4 weeks. OR Project Management: 24 hours, 2 hours, 3 times per week for 4 weeks.

Key Notes

  • This course is free of charge!
  • Participants who complete the program successfully will receive a certificate of completion from The Nawaya Network as well a certificate for the technical course from the respective course provider.
  • The deadline to apply is May 28, 2025.
  • The program will kick off on June 9, 2025.

Target Beneficiaries

Please check the eligibility criteria below before applying to this program:

  • Youth ages 21 to 35 years old
  • Fluent in English
  • University graduates with a Bachelor's degree
  • All nationalities
  • Committed to complete the phases of the program (up to 3 months)
  • Interested in upskilling in either Project Management OR Business Intelligence
  • Motivated and interested to strengthen your employability skills
  • Youth with or without work experience are encouraged to apply
  • Unemployed participants are prioritized
  • Full-time employees are not eligible to apply for this program
  • To complete the application, you are required to submit your CV. Make sure to have your CV ready on the device you are applying from and label it as follows: FULL NAME-CV.
  • Completing this application requires approximately 30 minutes. Please ensure you finish it in one session. Inactivity will lead to a timeout and necessitate restarting.
