Employment Hub is part of UNICEF Lebanon’s Generation of Innovation Leaders program, implemented by The Nawaya Network and funded by the Government of the Netherlands and The Andan Foundation.
The program aims to support financially-vulnerable, unemployed youth by upskilling them to increase their chances of finding employment. The program includes online soft skills and employability training, individual coaching related to career guidance, followed by a technical course based on the participant’s interest and trainer’s feedback, which includes either Project Management, Digital Marketing, or Business Intelligence.
The program will consist of 2 rounds; each round will last for three months and will entail the following:
Upon completing the program, you will get the opportunity to be featured on Nawaya’s Employment Portal, giving you visibility among local, regional, and international employers.
This course is free of charge. However, should you find employment starting the second phase of the program, there will be an employment success fee equivalent to your one-month salary to be paid back to Nawaya over a period of 12 months to enable us to cover our programmatic costs. For example, if your salary is $1,000/month, you would be requested to pay back $84/month for a period of 12 months. If you do not find employment within one year of graduating, you will not be required to pay back any fee.
The deadline to apply to Round 2 is June 27, 2023. The program will kick off in July, so hurry and reserve your spot!
