About the Program

Are you between 18 and 28 years old, living in Mount Lebanon?

Ready to turn your idea into a business or scale an existing one?

The Generation of Innovation Leaders (GIL) program, powered by UNICEF and implemented by The Nawaya Network, offers you the skills to master entrepreneurship, design thinking, and business development, with a unique opportunity for top teams to receive funding.

Accepted teams will move into incubation where they will receive additional coaching and funding support to successfully launch or grow their businesses.

Applicants from the North or Bekaa regions are invited to join the program through our partner, INJAZ Lebanon, via this link.

نوايا – المهارات اللازمة في ريادة الأعمال والتفكير التصميمي وتطوير الأعمال، بالإضافة إلى فرصة فريدة للفرق المتميزة للحصول على التمويل

 

حيث يتم قبول المشاريع الناجحة للانضمام إلى مرحلة الاحتضان التي تتلقى فيها تدريبًا إضافيًا ودعمًا ماليًا لإطلاق مشاريعهم بنجاحتنفذ شبكة نوايا برنامج “جيل قادة الابتكار” في بيروت وجبل لبنان والجنوب بما في ذلك النبطية

Program Phases - مراحل البرنامج​

Design Thinking التفكير التصميمي

5-day interactive training focusing on problem-solving, ideation, and feasibility based on the Sustainable Development Goals. تدريب تفاعلي لمدة 5 أيام يركز على حل المشكلات، توليد الأفكار، ودراسة الجدوى بناءً على أهداف التنمية المستدامة

Business Development -تطوير الأعمال

6-day training covering market research and feasibility, marketing and branding, financial planning, operation planning and pitching and presentation skills. تدريب لمدة 6 أيام يغطي أبحاث السوق ودراسة الجدوى، التسويق والعلامة التجارية، التخطيط المالي، التخطيط التشغيلي، ومهارات العرض والتقديم

Incubation - الحضانة

Selected teams receive funding to launch or scale their businesses. You will work with a dedicated coach to develop a prototype, refine business skills, and follow a proven growth model. تحصل الفرق المختارة على دعم مالي لإطلاق أو تطوير مشاريعها. ستعمل مع مدرب مختص لتطوير نموذج أولي للمنتج، وصقل مهاراتك الإدارية وفق منهجية نمو مُثبتة

Growth -النمو

Eligible participants may access advanced entrepreneurship training and additional funding opportunities in the form of loans. سيحظى مشاركون مختارون بفرصة الانضمام إلى تدريبات ريادية متقدمة، مع إمكانية الحصول على تمويل إضافي بصيغة قروض

Eligibility Criteria - معايير المشاركة​

  • Youth ages 18 to 28 - الشباب من عمر 18 إلى 28 سنة
  • All nationalities - من جميع الجنسيات
  • Living in Mount Lebanon (Bourj Hammoud & Semqanieh) - مقيمون في جبل لبنان (برج حمود أو السمقانية)
  • Applicants must be able to read & write - يجب أن يكون المتقدم قادرًا على القراءة والكتابة
  • Must have a clear idea for a business or plan to grow your business - يجب أن يكون لديه فكرة مشروع واضحة أو تسعى إلى تطوير فكرة مشروع خاص
  • Committed to attend & participate in all program activities - ملتزم بالحضور والمشاركة في الأنشطة التدريبية والميدانية
  • Passionate, creative, & self-starter - يتمتع بـالشغف والإبداع وروح المبادرة
  • We encourage persons with disabilities to apply to the program - نشجع الأشخاص من ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة إلى تقديم طلب تسجيل

Program Locations

  • In-Person Training: available to youth in and around Bourj Hammoud and Semqanieh - التدريب الحضوري: متاح للشباب في منطقتي برج حمود والسمقانية والمناطق المجاورة لهما
  • Sessions in Nabatieh, Hasbaya, and Beirut are now on hold due to the security situation and will be announced at a later stage - الجلسات التدريبية في مناطق النبطية، وحاصبيا، وبيروت متوقفة حالياً نظراً للأوضاع الأمنية الراهنة، وسيتم الإعلان عن المواعيد الجديدة في وقت لاحق
