At 27-years-old, Khalil Bazouni was determined to succeed despite the revolution and economic crisis in Lebanon. After completing his Master’s Degree in Environmental Geo-Sciences at the Lebanese University, Khalil found himself unemployed and searching for work. Little did he know, an Instagram announcement about the Employment Hub program would spark a new beginning. Khalil applied to the Employment Hub program, which begins with a series of online training sessions. To qualify for the second phase, participants must meet certain criteria. Khalil was successful and moved on to phase two, where he found an internship at Compost Baladi. After two months of hard work, he was offered a full-time job.
